Quality work but poor customer service
I probably won't use paint etc. again due to the fact that the painters were almost three hours late and they didn't call to tell me...I had to call and find out where they were. I also had to call and remind them to send me the painting estimate and the painting contract. They were definitely cheaper than other painters and the quality of the work, once they showed up, was great. I just didn't like my whole saturday (10+ hours) being spent in the house when I didn't have to be there.

Great Experience!
Paint Etc. recently painted the entire exterior of our house, from start to finish the experience was great. All of the personnel involved from Paints Etc. were helpful, courteous, respectful and professional. They arrived on time and went out of their way to make the process as easy as possible for us. The quality of the work was outstanding, they left the yard and flower beds intact and clean. The pricing for the work was competitive and a good value. In a day and age when customer service seems to be a thing of the past they were a refreshing change.

Dependable & Reliable
Paint Etc. has recently painted our kitchen and did an outstanding job! The company sent three men and they finished within five hrs. There was a lot of cut-ins that need to be done, something we could not take on ourselves. They were very professional and would recommend them to anyone.

Worst Experience w/Hardwood Floors
We had the bad experience of having Otto Fiek refinish our hardwood floors. We were referred to him through our contractor, who will NEVER use him again either. First of all, they left our house unlocked overnight after they finished the second day. Then they LOST the key to my house, so I will have to change the locks. The quality was severely lacking. We ended up with air bubbles in every room and places where the stain wasn't even. This resulted in having to MOVE OUT of our house overnight (and bear the expense of lodging, meals, vet to board the pet) while the entire house had to be emptied of furniture and they did the floors again. Whatever they did didn't do the trick and we still have air bubbles and places where the poly had large bubbles which have popped and left circles where there is no poly. Not to mention they were $800 MORE than other estimates (thought we paid more for quality - NOT!) Was supposed to call me 2 Saturdays ago to come back and fix the botched job. Have never heard from him. My contractor had to get someone else come out to fix Otto's failures. This guy was a nightmare.

I'm not sure what to think about this company.
My 1st experience with them was when they installed hardwood floors in my house. They did a 1st rate and completely wonderful job and I was very impressed with it. I had them come back and do carpet and unfortunately that experience was not nearly as good as the first. They under-estimated the carpet they needed to finish the job on the stairs. When they returned they installed a completely different color carpet on half of the stairs...that's right, one half in one color and the other half in another tint alltogether. They also left a few pretty significant gaps between the carpet and the bottom of the baseboard trim in one room. They did come back in a few days and fixed these 2 problems though. Another issue I had with them was they were pretty rough on the baseboard trim paint in one room and refused to touch that up even though they did the damage and I had the exact match paint there for them. Their positition was that wall and trim paint getting a little scuffed up is common during carpet install and they decline to repair that even when they cause it. Seems kind of ironic considering their company name and that painting is their specialty. If my experience was only the hardwaood floor install I would have given them 5 stars. If it had only been the carpet install no more than 2. I have no idea what kind of job they do on painting but given the many positive responses here I have to believe they should consider sticking to hardwood flooring and painting.

Excellent Job and Extremely Professional!!
If you are looking for a painting company look no further. PAINT ETC. are perhaps the best in Atlanta area. They came out to my home painted and completed everything in a very professional manner. Cathy was a charm to work with!! Thank you for everything! Erick

Prompt Service
Otto was able to meet me the day I called for service. All email requests were dealt with fairly quickly. They did a great job on the paint job, then turned around and did the carpet that Home Depot couldn't get done with their scheduling.

Nice work
I chose to use Paint Etc because a relative recently used their services and they did a good job on his house at a resonable price. I am happy with the job they did painting the exterior of my home and it was done at a very reasonable price. Thank you Paint Etc.

Designer's Secret!
As a designer that works on $850,000 plus homes, I'm a bit picky about my contractors. Otto and Paint Etc does all of my painting, trim work, tile, and hardwoods. I have also referred Paint Etc to several of my personal clients with extremely positive results. My clients have said that the price was considerably less than other quotes and that the job was finished quickly and professionally. The contractors that I refer reflect directly on my own name, and with that in mind, I highly recommend Otto and Paint Etc.
